Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we can officially welcome spring! The season when snow-kissed grounds melt, revealing lost patches of grass and soil. When cloudy skies give way to sunshine, and songbirds return to fill the sky with music.
One way to appreciate every season is by engaging in seasonal activities. Below we share some spring-inspired ideas you may find relaxing, energizing, or simply enjoyable.
Ways to Welcome Spring
Declutter. Now is the time to roll up our sleeves and get to work decluttering the winter-forgotten shelves, drawers, and spaces. A fresh home always feels lighter and bright!
Visit a local market. Many farmer and craft markets reopen at the start of spring, where you can find fresh produce, flowers, and seasonal items. They are definitely worth a visit.
Get outside. Now that the outside temperatures are rising, your local outdoor beauty can’t be missed. Perhaps take time to go for a picnic or enjoy a walk to admire the blossoming trees.
Spring scents. An excellent way to welcome the spring spirit is with spring-inspired scents, like floral and citrus.
To celebrate this season, we wanted to highlight some of our favorite refreshing spring scents.
Orange Blossom Tea
Orange blossoms are fragrant flowers found on orange trees. They bud mid-spring and are picked in full bloom for drying. They have a natural sweet scent and are high in antioxidants.
As the days warm up, we inevitably spend more time in the sun, so adopting a moisturizing bar is essential. Our all natural lotion bars restore sun-evaporated moisture and add a natural sweet perfume to the skin.
Lip scrubs remove flaking skin and encourage new skin cell production, which helps protect your lips from wind, sun, air pollution, and the like.
As flowers bloom, bees get busy collecting soon-to-be honey nectar. Honey is more than a sweet treat – it’s soothing, healing, and moisturizing for the skin.
If you have a little one, their skin is thinner and more delicate. This is why we offer ultra-sensitive baby massage bars. They contain only a few all-natural ingredients, like shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax. They are ideal for moisturizing after bath time or soothing any dry skin patches your child or baby may have.
All natural lip balms are a must-have for anyone’s skincare collection. They protect against environmental stressors as well as soothe chapped and sun-parched lips.
Lime Blossom Tea
Lime blossoms are another citrus tree flower that is skin-beneficial. Plus, their zesty honeysuckle scent screams springtime.
We all use soap daily, but have you tried switching tea scents based on the season? It can be a fun way to move through each year. We offer many floral and botanical all natural vegan bar soaps so you can move the beauty of flower gardens into your home and bathroom.
All natural bar soaps have a plethora of benefits for our skin and the environment. If you want to learn more, Read here.
Our hand-poured lotion sticks are the same nourishing formulas as lotion bars but with some extra positives. They are easy to throw in a bag, have great application mobility, and are perfect for soothing small dry areas throughout the day.
All lotion sticks are in paper (not plastic) tubes so that you can recycle or compost them after use. Small eco-friendly steps, like choosing plastic-free products, make a significant difference long-term.
Geranium flowers are colorful, frilly, and start to bud late spring but last until the first frost of autumn. They are a powerful antioxidant and contain many anti-inflammatory properties.
Spring calls for a renewing scrub. Our botanical scrubs are a luxurious treat but are also body-beneficial. The fine-grained sugar crystals gently slough away dead skin and buildup, clearing and brightening the skin.
Salves are amazing at protecting, healing, repairing, and moisturizing the skin. Our creamy Geranium Balm nourishes growing bellies, promotes skin regeneration, and can help reduce inflammation or swelling. And bonus: it smells like a fresh wildflower garden.
Tea-Licious Skincare is here to support your skin and body’s well-being. We craft our all natural body care products from plant based and skin-nourishing ingredients. If we want to inspire a better future, we must start with our daily products and routines. We wish you all a beautiful spring season!
